Chairman's Report - March 2017
Business Development Manager
Allied Universal Security
Dear Members and Friends-
I would like to thank everyone who volunteered to ensure that the Annual Seminar was a success! Our Chapter con nues to produce one of the best seminar values in the country, with a phenomenal lineup of speakers. A special thank you to Tampa Bay Water for hosting the event and Allied Universal Security Services for providing breakfast and snacks during the seminar. I am grateful for the support of my fellow Board members, especially Dawn McMahon, Bill Davis, Justin Wilmas and Shawn Huskey, who scheduled the speakers and handled the logistics of the event.
This month, we have another phenomenal speaker for our monthly luncheon. This month’s speaker is Chief Paul Sireci, who is the Chief of Police at Tampa International Airport. Our luncheon will be at Brio Tuscan Grille at International Plaza on 3/16 at 11:00am for registration and the luncheon will start promptly at 11:30. Please register on our website.
Finally, as we have completed the seminar, we immediately shift gears and begin planning for the Law Enforcement/Security Officer Awards Luncheon. We are excited about this important event to honor those that serve and are vigilant in protecting lives and property of others, often with little recognition or reward. If you are interested in volunteering or planning for this event, please reach out to Jim Parrish or myself. Nomination forms can be found on our website or in the content of this newsletter.
Also included in this newsletter and our website are the table sponsorship forms. Please remember that the tables seat 8 and we offer the nominees and their employers half of the table for their contribution. We are honored to present the only awards ceremony in the Tampa Bay Area to demonstrate our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
I hope to see you all at the luncheon on March 16th.
