Dear Members and Friends-
I would like to thank our luncheon speaker last month, Coach Dulcee Loehn, for her insigh ul presenta on on hiring team members based on a tude instead of knowledge or skills. I think we all gained several key take-aways from her presenta on.
This month, we have our Law Enforcement and Security O cer Awards Luncheon instead of our regular monthly luncheon. It will be held on Thursday, May 18th from 11:00am—1:30 pm at the Rusty Pelican on 2425 N Rocky Point Dr.. in Tampa. We have individual seats available for $30 per cket, which are online through our website at www.asistampabay.org. We appreciate the support of our membership for this important event to honor those that sacri ce and serve our communi es. I also would like to thank the members of our Board that have volunteered their me to plan the awards luncheon.
We had a great event last week with the Emerging Professional and Women in Security Commi ees at Bar Louie at Interna onal Plaza. We had a great turnout from current and poten al members of the Chapter. A special thank you to Dawn McMahon and Chris Chambers for organizing another successful event. It was a great opportunity to network with our colleagues and share best prac ces in the industry.
I look forward to seeing everyone next week on Thursday at the awards luncheon. Have a great week and stay safe!
